At ACPA, we are extremely proud of our talented, versatile, teaching faculty. They bring a wealth of first-hand knowledge to the college, their highly developed skills and extensive experience ensures we are continually informing and inspiring the next generation. Knowing ‘the industry’ ensures we can bring invaluable perspectives on training from all our backgrounds.
To help you achieve your potential the teachers will ensure that you are aware of the requirements of the course and how to achieve the criteria. All assignments will be returned promptly to the students with helpful feedback and students will receive individual feedback regularily on how work is progressing.
Teachers will always be available to meet on a one to one basis for any extra support that is required.

Bronwen Patching
Principal Director & DDE Ballet Dance Tutor
Bronwen Patching trained at The Hammond School, Ballet Rambert, and performed as a soloist with Northern Ballet Theatre before founding Adagio School of Dance. She has since trained pupils who gained places at top colleges and now work professionally in theatre, television, and ballet worldwide.
Elaine O'Connor
Course Leader
Elaine, a highly experienced Dance Educator and Mentor, trained at the London College of Dance and Drama and has over 30 years’ experience teaching, performing, and working with leading companies. She now serves as a Standards Verifier for Pearson and is delighted to work with Adagio College of Performing Arts.
Ashleigh Ward
Contemporary Dance Tutor & Tap Dance Tutor
Ashleigh began dancing at age 2½, later gaining a first-class Dance degree from the University of Gloucestershire and professional training at Centre PAC. She is now excited to share her passion and knowledge with the students of Adagio.
Josie Cox
Aerial Arts Tutor
Josephine is a professional circus artist and dancer with over 15years experience performing and teaching. She is a qualified dance, acrobatic and aerial arts teacher with experience in teaching all ages and abilities including circus skills such as contortion, tumbling and acrobatics
Ruth Goodwin
DDE Modern Dance and Tap Tutor
Ruth, a Fellow of the ISTD and experienced Tutor of the ISTD DDE, has taught at leading dance schools including BIRD College and is Principal of The Beverley School of Performing Arts. She brings a wealth of teaching, choreographic, and international training experience to inspire students to achieve their goals.

Michael Raynaud
Ballet Dance Tutor
Trained at the Paris Opera Ballet School, Michael performed worldwide with English National Ballet and now teaches at Ballet Theatre UK, the RAD, and summer schools internationally.
Joanne Bond
A Fellow of the ISTD and former examiner, Joanne’s pupils have gone on to leading ballet companies worldwide. Her award-winning school produced dancers accepted into all major UK ballet schools.
